Aworld-class dive destinations,a small limestone pinnacle rising from 600 meters, the  island is Situated about 35 km off the East Coast of Borneo near the Indonesian border around an hour boat ride from Semporna.

Covered with jungle the island is bordered by white sandy beaches that rise up out of the turquoise-blue sea. It is also well-known for the unusually large number of green and hawksbill turtles which gather there to mate and nest.

Sipadan has morethan 3000 varieties of fish and hundreds of coral species, all dive sites can be reached in a few minutes. Divers can experience the thrill of diving at the island’s 680 meter drop-off.

The number of divers staying at Sipadan has been Limited to 80 per night to protect the marin life and reef. Therefore it is necessary to book several weeks or months in advance
