This agreement will help you completely understand the rights and responsibilities of both yourself and Lintas Travel. By becoming a Lintastravel.com customer, you agree that you have read, understand and agree with the following Terms and Conditions, and give irrevocable consent to be bound by all said Terms and Conditions, including any updates thereto. Lintas Travel has the right to change the Terms and Conditions, in whole or in part, at any time with or without notice. Lintas Travel encourages you to print out a copy of this agreement to review and bring it with you on your trip.

Your Eligibility

You must be an individual, 18 years of age or older. If you are under 18, you may use Lintastravel.com only with involvement of a parent or legal guardian.

Your Responsibility

Before making reservations, it is your responsibility to read the fine print associated with your desired product including, but not limited to, the following sections: Pricing and its notice, Airline terms and conditions, Tour Itinerary, Package Includes, Package Excludes, Cancellation and Refund Policy, Terms and Conditions, Special Note, etc.. And you herein state that you have read and fully understand the content of all fine print and will waive the right to dispute any part of it after your purchase.
Once you have completed your reservation, it is the customer ‘s responsibility to keep all contact information up-to-date.

Standard Reservation Process and E-Ticket

1. Immediately after submitting your reservation/order, you will receive a Receipt of Reservation by email. This Receipt of Reservation does not guarantee seat availability.
2. If you are not making payment via ipay88, please ensure that you upload the bank in slip as proof of payment for your flight booking by 10pm (UTC +08:00) on the same day. If your proof of payment is not received by this time, your flight booking will be automatically cancelled.
3. Within one to two business days of submitting payment for your reservation/order, you will be notified via email of your reservation‘s confirmation.
4. An E-Ticket will be sent to you via email after we confirm your reservation and all requirements and arrangements have been finalized for your travel.
5. Simply print out your E-Ticket and present it with your valid photo ID at the airport check-in desk on the day of your departure. E-tickets will serve as your proof of purchase and a boarding pass.

Privacy and Data Collection

Lintastravel.com is the sole owner of the information collected on this website. We will not sell or share this information to any outside parties, except as outlined in this policy. Lintastravel.com collects information from our users at several different points on our website in order to process reservations and better serve you with pertinent information. Information collected includes name, shipping address, billing address, telephone numbers, email, passport number, IC number and bank account number (if you are paying via bank transfer). Lintastravel.com also requires you to submit a username and password of your choice for future access to your information. Your username and password is to remain confidential and you should not share this information with anyone. Lintas Travel‘s information practices are further described in its Privacy and Security Policy. Lintas Travel‘s Privacy and Security Policy is part of this Agreement, and you agree that use of data as described in the Privacy and Security Policy is not an actionable breach of your privacy or publicity rights.


Travel Insurance & Limitation of Liability

Lintas Travel strongly recommends our customers acquire insurance covering medical, trip cancellation, and baggage, etc. Lintas Travel does not currently offer any travel arrangements. The travel products listed on Lintastravel.com are operated by independent tour providers and suppliers. We act as agent for providers of flights, tours, transportation, sightseeing and hotel accommodations. Lintas Travel shall be exempt from any liability in the event of an accident resulting in, but not limited to, loss or damage of properties, injury to people, death during trip, delays, irregularities or other occurrences beyond its control. Settlements will ensue in accordance with rules set by airlines, hotels, buses, etc. You agree that Lintas Travel will not be liable for any costs or damages arising out of a dispute or disagreement between you and any participating provider or a third party for anything that is in any way related to this site or the use of information contained in this site, and you hereby expressively waive any such claim against Lintas Travel and its owner, members, officers, directors, employees, parents, subsidiaries, agents and representatives. Lintas Travel suggests that due to the Cancellation Policy for your travel and the unexpected events that can possibly occur, your party would benefit from purchasing Travel Insurance for your reservation.


Tour Amendments and Cancellation

Travel providers, including airlines, will try their best to make sure all the travel arrangements will be the same as planned. However, to ensure safe and secure travel, tour providers reserve the right to make amendments including altering, postponing and cancelling flights due to weather, transportation, riots and many other uncontrollable circumstances. Travel providers also reserve the right to cancel the flight prior to departure, and refund payment according to individual airline policies.


Language

This website is provided in English. Our travel Consultants are able to assist you in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.


Passports and Visas

You are responsible for obtaining any travel documents and/or verifying entry requirements necessary for each country of travel and/or transit on your selected travel itinerary. Entry laws differ with respect to traveler‘s citizenship. Lintas Travel cannot obtain personal travel documents for customers or assume responsibility for notice of current requirements on any given country. You are responsible for any expenses incurred as a result of delays or itinerary changes related to your lack of appropriate travel documents.
You should strictly abide by the laws and regulations promulgated by the government of the visiting country including but not limited to immigration and Customs Laws and Regulations. Lintas Travel will not be responsible for any penalties due to your failure to abide by any regulations of the government of the visiting country.


Pricing, Amendment, Cancellation and Refund Policy

Please be aware all prices are offered in the currency of Malaysian Ringgit. Prices may vary due to availability. For example, prices may increase during holiday periods. All prices are subject to confirmation. Further details about Lintas Travel‘s cancellation and refund practices are described in Standard Amendment, Cancellation and Refund Policy. Lintas Travel‘s Standard Amendment, Cancellation and Refund Policy is part of this Agreement, and you agree that you have read and approve of all its content before making an online reservation.


Offers

Offers are provided and confirmed only on an availability basis. Once confirmed, the reservation cannot be changed or removed without a Cancellation Fee. Our standard cancellation fee is RM 50 per person and this fee is separate from the cancellation fee imposed by airlines.
Further details about Lintas Travel‘s cancellation and refund practices are described in Standard Amendment, Cancellation and Refund Policy. Lintas Travel‘s Standard Amendment, Cancellation and Refund Policy is part of this Agreement, and you agree that you have read and approve of all its content before making your online reservation.


Ticket Sales

Please note that credit card ticket purchases will only be available online as an E-ticket and guests are advised to print all necessary travel documents prior to departure. Guest purchasing through FPX, Online banking or cash have similar arrangements with regards to travel documents issued by Lintas Travel. However, guests may request to pick up travel documents from our registered office.

  • 1) For Office Pick-up: Guests can request and arrange for office pick-up at 2-2 Jalan 1/76D Desa Pandan 55100 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia during our normal business hours from Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Guests paying by credit card must be present with a valid form of ID to pick up tickets.


Airport Transfers/ Flight Information

Flight information must be provided in order for the airport transfer services to be arranged. At our discretion, if flight information is not provided or provided last minute, your reservation will be noted as a self-transfer and no airport transfer services will be arranged.


Chargebacks

You hereby waive any objection you may have to Lintas Travel‘s use of electronic records with Discover, MasterCard, Visa, American Express or banks that issue credit cards should it be necessary for Lintas Travel to respond to a chargeback. You agree that Lintas Travel does business electronically by email, so email is accepted as the form of delivery of the services provided by Lintas Travel. You are not ordering tickets to be delivered in person or by mail, so you agree to accept email as the form of delivery and instructs ipay88 and/or banks that issue credit cards that email delivery constitutes delivery of services in this transaction.
You agree not to dispute a credit card charge on the basis of services not rendered if Lintas Travel can prove that the E-Ticket was sent by email (by providing electronic proof that the E-Ticket was sent at a specific date and time as recorded by Lintas Travel‘s computer system, by fax (by providing a copy of the transmission record showing the fax was successfully sent to the fax number provided, by mail (by providing a signed statement by the person who deposited the E-Ticket in Poslaju Malaysia). You agree that you will not dispute any charge improperly. This includes filing chargebacks claiming fraud if you claim the name of Lintas Travel was not recognized by you. In the event you file a chargeback improperly, you agree to provide a written statement to the credit card company confirming the charge is correct and should be paid and agree to send a faxed copy of this letter to Lintas Travel, Attention: Chargeback 03 – 9287 2323.
In the event legal action is necessary for by Lintas Travel to collect money taken away from Lintas Travel through a chargeback or to collect the Chargeback Fee, you agree to pay Lintas Travel‘s legal expenses if Lintas Travel wins the lawsuit.


Medical Conditions, Pregnancy and Travel

If you have a medical condition, or if you are pregnant and considering travel, you must consult with your doctor before you travel, especially if medical condition requires daily routine care, urgent care, or your pregnancy is high-risk. You are responsible for disclosing any related information to us during the check-out process by adding special comments. You understand Lintas Travel or local provider is not in a position to provide any medical services or urgent care in the event such an action may be required. You are liable for any risks, incidences or consequences incurred during travel. We highly recommend that you purchase medical insurance and travel insurance before you travel.


Disabilities and Travel

We embrace all people, regardless of physical conditions. One of our goals is to provide free access and expand travel opportunities for people with special needs in Malaysia and abroad. We are exploring more travel products to accommodate this special population; however, yet, not all the travel products we currently offer include special accommodations. You are responsible to verify with us before you book travel to ensure that special arrangement can be made if it is required for your needs. Lintas Travel or local provider is not liable for any incidences or consequences incurred during travel or complaints or lawsuits during or after travel due to your failure to inform us of your special needs. You also have the responsibility to re-confirm with us, after we reserve seats for you, that special accommodation will be provided per your request.


Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

Lintas Travel uses reasonable efforts to have accurate, complete and current information on its website. However, since travel and tour rates are constantly changing, we do not warrant that all information is up-to-date or free of technical or typographical errors. It is the user‘s responsibility to verify any information before relying on it. We reserve the right to make changes and updates to any information contained within this site without prior notice. Access to, and use of, this website and the content thereof is at the risk of the user. In certain instances, we have provided links to other websites solely for your convenience. These sites are not maintained or controlled by Lintas Travel, and we are not responsible for their content. It is up to you to take precautions to ensure that whatever you select for your use is free of such items as viruses, bugs, worms, cancelbots, Trojan horses and other items of a harmful or destructive nature.
If your contact information, including but not limited to, your email address, phone number, physical address or other data is incorrect, Lintas Travel will not assume any liability for information not received by the customer/consumer.


Choice of Law, Waiver, and Claims

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia, without reference to conflicts of law rules. As a condition of the use of the Lintas Travel website and service, you (the Customer) agree to submit to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located within Malaysia and therefore agree to file any grievance or suit of any kind exclusively in the courts located within Malaysia. If any provision of this Agreement is found invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent possible, and the other provisions contained herein will remain in full force and effect. Lintas Travel‘s failure to insist upon or enforce strict performance of any provision of the Agreement shall not be construed as a waiver of any provision or right. Nothing in this Agreement shall be construed as creating or constituting a partnership, joint venture or agency relationship between Lintas Travel and the product providers or between Lintas Travel and any other of its Corporate Partners. Neither the product providers nor any Corporate Partner shall have the ability to create any obligation on Lintas Travel‘s behalf. This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and Lintas Travel with respect to the use of Lintastravel.com.
